Mrljane

Mrljane is one of the settlements on the island Pašman, which is a part of the Zadar archipelago; it is connected by a regular ferry line to Biograd, and also by a ferry line from Zadar to Preko on the island Ugljan. This ecologically preserved landscape with various sorts of aromatic and medicinal herbs, vineyards, olive-groves and fields, along with numerous sand and gravel beaches, represents the best choice for families with children, and for all those who want to spend their vacations far from the crowd and noise. In ancient times this settlement was situated under the Semic hill, whereas today it is placed by the coast with a beautiful sand beach. A nearby hill offers a magnificent view of the Pašman canal as well as of “Kornati” National Park. The lovely sand beaches are attracting increasing numbers of tourists, while the residents, traditionally excellent navigators, have become involved in nautical tourism in recent times.
